St. Louis Paint and Coatings Society is pleased to announce they will award two scholarships this year. The first scholarship, the George Claytor Memorial Award. The award is in the amount of $2000. The other scholarship award is sponsored by SLPCS in the amount of $2000.

The scholarship is a way of providing our members with an opportunity to improve their skills or the skills of their employees. The awarded amount can be used for coatings short courses and any remaining scholarship funds  can be used towards travel cost etc.

We would like to acknowledge and extend our gratitude to the generous contribution made by Walsh and Associates to fund the George Claytor Memorial Award. Thank you for your generosity.

Who Can Apply?

• ​Current members of SLPCS

• Individuals looking to further their education in the coatings industry

​

Approved Universities/Organizations:

• Missouri S&T

• Eastern Michigan University

• North Dakota State University

• Cal Poly

Please note the scholarships must be used within 3 years of the awarded date. Any member or  individual wanting to further their education in the coatings industry is welcome to apply. Winners will be announced at an annual meeting.  Click below to download the application.
